Private Lessons & Group Classes

Gallagher Violins offers weekly private violin and viola lessons in increments of 30, 45, 60 and 75 minutes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to ages 3-18. Lessons are spent focusing on the Suzuki repertoire and principles with additional supplemental material as needed. Mrs. Kathleen will help guide you in selecting the appropriate private lesson time for your child.

All private lessons are accompanied by a 30-minute weekly group class held every Wednesday except for the summer semester. Group classes are used to solidify skills introduced in the private lesson and as an opportunity to interact and make connections within the studio. Attending group classes is mandatory, there is no private lesson only option.

Virtual lessons will be taken on a case-by-case basis.

Gallagher Violins is an approved IEM Inc. South Sutter Charter School vendor.

Tuition

  • $50 per 30 min. private lesson & 30 min. group class

    • Pre-Twinkle, Suzuki Book 1

  • $60 per 45 min. private lesson & 30 min. group class

    • Suzuki Book 2 & 3

  • $75 per 60 min. private lesson & 30 min. group class

    • Suzuki Book 4-6

  • $100 per 75 min. private lesson & 30 min. group class

    • Suzuki Book 7-10

*An annual registration fee based on book level will be charged prior to the fall semester or prior to new student enrollment. This allows the studio to provide all required materials with the exception of the instrument itself.

Additional items provided to optimize your experience and development that are unique to being a member of the Gallagher Violins studio includes access to My Music Staff, feedback through the Marco Polo app, customized play along practice YouTube videos, and practice challenges/prizes.
